Early American Historical Fiction Genre Study
In the Early American Historical Fiction Genre Study, students will read a variety of historical fiction texts that represents different cultures, events, and people throughout American History. Students will read about both male and female figures from different era in American Culture.
Historical Fiction Genre is an invented story that takes place in the historic past. Students will read about significant historic events while reading fictional stories about characters that experienced these events, but didn't really exist. Some reading will be non-fiction texts with information about important people, events, places, and cultures from Americas past. |
