Compound & Complex Sentences
Compound Sentences: A sentence that contains two sentences joined by using a comma, and, but, or or.
Complex Sentences: A sentence that contains two related ideas joined by a complex conjunction such as, after, although, as, because, if, since, so, that, until, when, whether, and while.
Comma: Sometimes a comma is necessary if the conjunction appears in the middle of the sentence. The comma always comes before the conjunction.
